“Don’t focus on having a great blog. Focus on producing a blog that’s great for your readers.”
By – Brian Clark.
Blogs can get more traffic on the website or a page. Its either through Digital Marketing or Blogging which can improve the profit of the company or the organisation. So here are the 5 tips about blogging for beginners.
1.Write down your ideas
Jot down the ideas on a piece of paper, whenever an idea pops into your head. You can use smartphone which will be best way to remember things. It doesn’t matter how you write down your ideas, but by writing down ideas it helps stimulate your mind in better way. And it gives you a trail of your “stream-of-consciousness” that can help inspire other ideas. Don’t stress out how you track your notes or ideas. Just do whatever works for you.
2. Use a blog topic generator tool
HubSpot offers a fun blog topic generator tool. It’s an interesting way to get ideas based on a few keywords that you type in the box. The tool presents a list of topics for you from which you can choose. Keep in mind that results are not 100% accurate, so grammar and terminology may need to be changed accordingly.
3. Always add images that support your story.
Whatever you write your blog it should be supported by images which are relevant to the content. Most people don’t read the whole content they just go through the content so in this case if there are images it becomes easy for the reader to understand the content.
4. Make interesting and simple headline
Readers should instantly understand the value of reading your content. Grab their attention with a great headline that is compelling. This headline could have been something like, for example: “How to Blog Effectively for Beginners “.
When your choosing a topic keep this points in mind
- A number (40)
- The value provided long tail keywords (to grow blog traffic)
- Link Building (blogging tips and tricks for beginners)
- A surprising metric (I could have added…”by 500%”)
5. Keep it short
Working out the best length for your blog posts can be tricky. You generally need about 300 words minimum to get indexed by search engines, but otherwise the length of your post is up to what you think feels best for the topic that you choose. Many visitors to your site won’t bother scrolling, and most visitors won’t read more than about 60% of what you’ve written. So it needs to be sharp and simple.
